Known for reliable and personalized service, this family-owned laundry and dry cleaners began serving the Kansas City area in 1908. After numerous owners, business locations and more than 100 years in business, the Plaza Ford-Ideal sadly closed its doors in the fall of 2013. Abandoned at 3745 Broadway Boulevard in Kansas City’s Westport district, the 1950s-vintage sign was rescued by LUMI in 2018.
