Cascone’s Grill, where “Italian cuisine meets American diner,” has been located in the River Market since 1930. The chef created Italian sausage & eggs, hash browns, meatloaf and gravy, and much, much more.

The Kansas City family breakfast and lunch staple decided to close their door after 89 years in March of 2019.

Customers are sad to see this original diner close, but George & Annette had a very long and enjoyable run and said “It was all about the customers”.

LUMI acquired the window neon sign from George in January 2020.
